A rainy day in stonehaven…

I competed in Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year Season 9 as a Wildcard contestant. I painted two small gouache paintings on Stonehaven harbour - one of the Tollbooth Museum and one of the cliffs of Downie Point.

The weather held out until mid-afternoon when I had to attach my umbrella to my easel to protect my works from running in the rain.

Taking part was a fantastic experience.
